A. Booking in tattoos really depends on the size and complexity of the work and how busy our artists are. It's always a better idea to book in advance, it makes everything run much smoother here at the studio and gives you a chance to prepare yourself for the tattoo. However there is always a good chance we can fit you in spur of the moment and there's nothing wrong with coming in and sorting something out face to face. A. The process of getting a tattoo involves a motorized needle puncturing your skin at an incredibly high speed over a prolonged period, so yes it is going to hurt. As tolerance of pain differs from person to person, it's impossible to determine how much it's going to hurt for the individual; however with that said, the initial panic is usually significantly worse than the pain itself.
